Tile Hill sits on the western edge of Coventry, characterized by its deep connection to the ancient Forest of Arden. This woodland heritage is still visible today in the preserved pockets of oak and hazel at Plants Hill Wood and Pig Wood, which provide a natural buffer against the urban sprawl. Historically, the area transitioned from rural hamlet to a planned post-war suburb, designed with plenty of green space and winding residential roads that follow the natural topography. It is a practical location for those needing to travel, as it is served by its own railway station on the West Coast Main Line, offering direct links to both Birmingham New Street and London Euston. The neighborhood is largely residential, split between the established Tile Hill North and the more contemporary developments of Tile Hill Village, and is conveniently positioned for easy access to the University of Warwick campus and the nearby A45.
