Wyberton sits just on the southern edge of Boston, serving as a quiet village bridge between the busy market town and the open, horizontal landscape of the Lincolnshire Fens. It’s a place defined largely by its geography; the village is bisected by the A16, which provides a direct link toward Spalding, while the older parts of the settlement remain tucked away along narrower lanes. At its heart is the Grade I listed church of St Leodegar, which has stood since the 12th century and serves as a reminder of the area’s long history of land reclamation. Today, the locality is a mix of established residential pockets and newer developments, supported by practical amenities like the local primary school and a cluster of shops and food outlets near the main road. While it has grown considerably, you still only have to walk a short distance toward the Frampton marshes to feel the scale of the rural landscape and the proximity to the Wash.
