Swynnerton is a small village situated in the county of Staffordshire, close to the town of Stone. The village has a rich history, with parts of St. Mary's Church dating back to the 12th century, and an ancient castle ruin, home to the Swynnerton family for over 500 years. Despite its size, Swynnerton offers plenty of practical amenities - a primary school, post office, petrol station and several restaurants and pubs.
