Trelawnyd is a small village located in the vicinity of Rhyl, North Wales. Its name derives from the Cornish place "Trelawny", referring to Sir Jonathan Trelawny, who was Bishop of Bristol and later Archbishop of Canterbury. Despite its rather small size, Trelawnyd has a rich history that dates back to prehistoric times. The village is surrounded by picturesque landscapes with numerous rolling hills, woodlands, and nature reserves. It is also home to several historic landmarks such as St James Church and Trelawnyd Hall. Infrastructure-wise, the village has a primary school, village hall and pub which serves local residents and visitors alike.
