Halsham is a small village located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, about 10 miles east of Hull city centre. With a population of under 400, it is a peaceful and close-knit community set amidst beautiful countryside. Halsham boasts an interesting history, with the oldest parts of the parish church dating back to the 12th century. The village also had strong links to the sea trade in the past, with many residents working in the nearby port town of Hedon. Today, Halsham remains a picturesque and tranquil place to live, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like walking and cycling. Despite its rural location, it's relatively easy to get into Hull or surrounding areas thanks to good road connections from nearby A1033 and B1362, making Halsham an attractive proposition for those looking for a quieter slice of life outside the bustling city centre.
