Ludborough is a small village situated approximately 6 miles south-west of Grimsby. It has a population of around 300 and boasts some beautiful traditional Lincolnshire cottages, along with a number of newer properties. The village benefits from having a local pub, which serves food and has a well-stocked bar, as well as a community centre, which hosts regular events throughout the year. For those who enjoy outdoor pursuits, there are plenty of walks to be had in the surrounding countryside, and the nearby Wold Newton Range provides opportunities for shooting enthusiasts. The village is also home to the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, which runs heritage steam trains between Ludborough and North Thoresby.
