St Athan is a large, grounded village in the Vale of Glamorgan, positioned just a few miles west of Barry and within easy reach of the coast at Gileston. While it feels rural, its position on the B4265 makes it a practical spot for getting into Cardiff or Bridgend, offering a sense of space without being disconnected from the region's main industrial and commercial hubs.
